Sorry if I sound old-fashioned, but going to the pub or karaoke is no longer for me.
Playing for an adult means an activity that gives him happiness and joy, reduces stress, might stimulate creativity, or ties a relationship with someone new or refreshes the old one.
Not all plays known generally in Indonesia are suitable for adults. If insisted on, some would be considered childish. Games, including Lompat Karet, Petak Umpet, Ular Naga, and Congklak, are for kids. The seniors have their own choices.
Playtime is a time to have fun responsibly and thoughtfully. Sorry if I sound old-fashioned, but going to the pub or karaoke is no longer for me. I choose gardening, walking, and photographing the environment instead.
Now I play in stillness, no longer under night lights or in the middle of a crowd.

I can relate to your playtime moments, too, asnelly
Oh really? A bit surprised since you are much younger than me.
Yes, but I’m a young introvert. My posts here prove it all.
Indeed, an introverted girl with deep thoughts. keep sharing, dear. thanks.
Thank you so much, asnelly. Have a beautiful day as you are!
I completely relate to your perspective on playtime. It’s interesting how our idea of fun evolves as we get older.
I’d love to know, what are some of your favorite places to unwind while traveling? Do you have any special spots that particularly resonate with you during your adventures? It seems like finding solace in new environments can be so rejuvenating.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Dear friend, thank you for your kind comments.
At my age now, I enjoy almost every place I visit. After finishing office work in a region, I take the time to go to the local vegetable garden or rice field and take pictures of plants, insects, grasshoppers, and anything that catches my eye. Even a casual chat with the farmers or sitting alone in a farmer’s hut can refresh my mind.
I keep all the photos of my travels or field trips. Sometimes, I flip through the photo collages and write about them. It’s amazing how much I’ve changed. In the past, a fun trip was going to Jakarta, Bandung, Bali (all major cities in Indonesia), and abroad. Now, just going to the village makes my heart sing, hahaha.
